One standard.
Every tube.

Core is the image intensification platform in every Proton system. Every tube has to clear a guaranteed performance floor before it earns the name — that floor is the number you see in it.

Nomenclature FOM floor, guaranteed
Interface 3-pin, manual-gain ready
Warranty 2 years

Set apart on purpose.

Core III steps into Gen 3 GaAs territory — the sensitivity we reserve for conditions where seeing first isn't optional. Two tiers, held to the same guaranteed-floor naming as the rest of Core, and to nothing else.

Core III tube

[Why Gen 3]

GaAs Photocathode material — Gen 2+ runs a multialkali cathode instead
≥ 2000µA/Lm Peak sensitivity — roughly double Core II-2000's floor
≥ 32SNR Signal-to-noise ratio — the highest in the entire Core lineup
Core II tube

Five tiers. One family.

Core II is the main family of the Core platform: a Gen 2+ multialkali photocathode across five performance tiers, covering everything from a first deployment to serious low-light work. Each tier is named after its own guaranteed floor FOM — the number is a spec, not a marketing ceiling.

1200 Core II-1200 Entry tier — versatile use, training, and reserve units.
1400 Core II-1400 Strong performance-to-cost ratio for regular low-light use.
1600 Core II-1600 Mid tier — stronger sensitivity and resolution for mixed environments.
1800 Core II-1800 Demanding professional use — low noise, steady in heavy darkness.
2000 Core II-2000 The top of the Gen 2+ line — the sharpest Core II gets.

One platform, every system.

Every Core tube ships 3-pin, manual-gain ready — day one. Upgrade any Proton Lite system to Omni Bridges and manual gain comes standard. No tube swap. It was already built for it.
